Additional learning support

At our school, we ensure every student has equity in their learning. We support students with disabilities and additional learning needs so they can take part in all areas of school life.  We work side by side with our parents/carers at any stage of your child's schooling to assist in obtaining the best support for their Learning.

We now have three multi-categorical rooms that provide specialist and intensive support for eligible students with a diagnosed intellectual or physical disability, autism spectrum disorder or mental health diagnosis.

Additional learning areas that provide extra social and educational support at our school include our Aboriginal Learning and Educational Centre (ALEC) and the Intervention Centre.

We also have a Literacy and Numeracy room that focuses on developing mathematical problem-solving strategies, reading accuracy, fluency, and comprehension skills for students that have a lower-than-average reading age gathered from our learning support team data.
