Swimming Carnival

The swimming carnival held in the first term at Narrandera High School is a much-anticipated annual event that brings students together to compete in various swimming races and activities. It promotes school spirit, teamwork, and healthy competition, encouraging students of all skill levels to participate. The carnival also serves as a selection event for district and regional swimming competitions, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for athletic development.

Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)

At Narrandera High School, Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) rewards play an important role in recognising and encouraging students who demonstrate respectful, responsible, and safe behaviours. Through a range of rewards and acknowledgements, the school fosters a positive and supportive learning environment, motivating students to consistently make good choices and contribute positively to the school community. These rewards help build students’ confidence and reinforce the values that underpin their success both in and out of the classroom.

Book Week

Every year in August, Children’s Book Week is celebrated at Narrandera High School.

So many students and staff members embrace their inner book character and participate in lunchtime activities - all things BOOK!

Our morning assembly book parade is exceptional. Everyone joins in with effort, inspiration and enthusiasm. The costumes are true to character and remind us of the adventure of reading. The books are the winners!
